I'm baaaaaaaccckkk!
Wow..Long absence I know! Things have been very up and down the past 7 months! I have continued to make graphics, but I left the communities I was creating in. I still take private requests, but haven't received any due to my absence from communities on livejournal. A friend of mine sent me some requests a week or so ago, and as I was creating the graphics for her I rediscovered my love for graphics. It really does make me happy to create them in my spare time. I admit, at one point it was becoming a chore. I felt pressured to make a TON or make none at all, and with such a hectic schedule and things going on at the time, it made me want to run away. However,
I'm back and with a better plan this time around.
I have continued practicing graphics, expirimenting with lots of different boxes and brushes as well as techniques. I'm anxious to create for a large group again and post freebies every chance I get! SO, I have created my own community on Livejournal. This way, I don't feel pressured by anyone else, which will allow me to create without feeling like it's a chore. I'm hoping that you'll join me there and see what I've been up to! I've been making lots of new blinkies that I plan on offering as well!
The Freeware Blinkie Gallery has been UPDATED! Private Requests are still open! For those of you who were loved and your time ran out, I will be sending you a personal message inviting you to Sparkaleighs and renewing your pass. However, now it will be called the "Adored List" :) I will also be gifting each of you 5 P2B for my absence as an extra apology. Updated Galleries & Great news!!
Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season & a great new years eve! I have been a busy lady & I apologize for not updating smash graphix as much as I would have liked! I've been very busy with my....FIANCE! :) Yep, after almost five years Damen proposed! He proposed on January 4th, and I of course said yes! The date is set for Sunday June 3rd, 2012, we're
very excited!!
I'm home sick with the stomach flu, and decided as long as I'm stuck not being able to do anything, I might as well update a bit! I updated my freeware blinkie gallery, animated & non animated galleries, sigtag gallery, & paid blinkie gallery. I just wanted to touch base with you all! I'm accepting paid requests always, so just let me know if you're interested! :)
In other news, I've been expirimenting with my graphics a bit. I attempted a couple sigtags for the first time, which you can find in my gallery. A huge thank you to everyone who purchased my christmas cards! I'm so glad you enjoyed them! If anyone is interested in customized valentines day cards, just let me know and I'd be more then happy to come up with something for you :) More exciting news is I'm making in another livejournal community now, one of the best on livejournal if I do say so myself, ran by Shay the owner of Enchanted Hollows. Christmas Cards For Sale!!!
Christmas is approaching quickly! I've decided to sell some cards this year! They are extremely affordable & as always, completely customizable! I have a few designs that I've made for myself this year that I'll post as examples. (click them to view it full size). You can use one of them (but with your own pictures/message) or you can tell me what you want & I'll come up with a card especially for you!
They are size 4x6. The completed design will be emailed to you, and you can have them printed somewhere near you (Walgreens does them super cheap, but wherever you like them done it will work perfectly!) I will print a test card for each design to ensure that it comes out great before completing our sale! The cost is

My New Award & Halloween Edit Sale

I won my first award this week! I was given a greyscale pixel and was told to shade it, add pixel text, and I MUST use boxes that *I* made. It was my first time ever shading anything, or entering a contest, so I was very surprised to find out I won! :)

Halloween Photo Edits All Through October, GREAT DEAL!
I decided to do something a bit different and offer some halloween photo edits! They will go from today, October 2nd, until October 31st. You can purchase one for only 50cents! Some New Additions!
I'm sorry I havn't updated in a while. Things have been CRAZY lately! I got my license and my new job. I've been running all over the place and havn't had nearly any time for graphics. Today I added a new set of blinkie boxes for purchase. I think it's my favorite set yet! I also added a couple new blinkies in my food section of my freeware blinkie gallery. Frappacino's anyone? :) I added 5 new examples to my photo edit page as well. I'll continue to add blinkies as I have the time to do them. It took me long enough!
TA DAH! Haha Took me long enough huh? Nearly a month. Okay so I admit, the first few weeks I was slacking, I really didn't spend TOO much time working on SG, because I was getting so frustrated with figuring everything out. Now I've got the hang of it :) I think it looks MUCH MUCH MUCH better then the original layout & it surely has a LOT more content! One of the most exciting new things is I'm taking paid requests! I wasn't sure I was ready (or that anyone would WANT to purchase things from me) yet, but I was asked if I took paid requests a few times. That was all it took, and I got started! Everything is basically in place other then a few pages. I still need to make/put up a ton of blinkies & sigtags for my galleries, but other then that, we're in business! I've got some awesome new sister sites too! Check out the right side bar and pay them a visit after you browse around here! They're wonderful :)! I've worked so hard on this site, and it's drove me crazy, and made me smile at the same time. I hope you guys like it! Thank you SO much for the support! :) Oh! & In other news, I'm co-maintainer at Deadly Design now! That was a huge surprise & I'm really excited about it! :) Now that the site's done I'll be able to start posting more freebies there. In other exciting news, TODAY I GOT A NEW JOB! I'm now a teacher at La Petite Academy!! It's my dream job, and i'm SO excited! Other then that, just positive things flowing into my life for a change! I'm definitely not complaining :)

Under Construction
Smash Graphix is getting completely re-done. Excuse the mess please. I'm setting up the shop and opening paid requests, as well as making all my galleries, changing the layout, etc. I now have two memberships so I have lots of goodies to make for you guys! Because everything is getting re-done, I don't currently have a memberships page. So here are my licenses to be displayed here in the mean time. Things will all be sorted out soon!

Grand Opening
Suprise! Yes! This was the secret project I've been working on! I'm so excited that It's finished & you guys can come check it out now! It only took me 4 days, which I was suprised about. I figured it would take me forever since I havn't used a HTML base this much in so long. I'm really proud of myself though :) It's a good feeling of accomplishment! I'll always be adding more examples, so feel free to bookmark me if you'd like :) This will also be where everything with paid requests takes place once I decide to take that plunge! Smash Graphix Is Born!
Today I decided to compile everything into one neat little space on the web. Now I can easily share Smash Graphix with anyone interested in seeing examples/rules/loved list/etc. I do hope in the future to take paid requests (right now I'm shooting for some time around December/January) so having this already made and organized will be a huge help then! As for the name, I wasn't really sure what to title it. I don't have my own community for my graphics in livejournal. I'm a maker at
Deadly Design, so I was stumped as to what to name the place. I finally settled on Smash Graphix. My name is Ashleigh, and I've always been called Smash or Smashleigh, so I figured Smash Graphix was simple, but fun :) I'm excited for the grand opening of SG, I havn't told anyone that It's in the making yet! (which if you know me, you know I can't hardly keep my mouth shut when I'm excited about something, so It's been difficult! My best friends don't even know!) I'm spending a lot of time & hard work on everything. I'm using HTML
only for this, and I havn't done web design in
years so it's going to be challenging but fun at the same time! I'm hoping it will be fully up and running within the week! Exciting!! :D
